Shipping Policy
Primal Instinct Records — Maazca Sàrl Last updated: April 8, 2026
Article 1 — General Information
This Shipping Policy applies to all physical goods — vinyl records and merchandise — sold through primal-instinct.net and dispatched to customers worldwide. It forms part of the contractual relationship between Maazca Sàrl (the "Seller") and the Customer and should be read alongside the General Terms and Conditions of Sale and the Return and Refund Policy.
Digital content (WAV files) is delivered electronically and is not subject to this Shipping Policy.
Article 2 — Order Processing Time
Orders are processed within a maximum of 30 calendar days from the date of confirmed payment, unless a different processing time is explicitly stated on the relevant product page.
For certain releases — including new pressings, pre-orders, and limited editions — longer processing times may apply due to manufacturing lead times. Any such delay will be indicated clearly on the product page at the time of purchase. By placing an order on such a product, the Customer acknowledges and accepts the extended processing timeline.
The processing period begins upon receipt of confirmed payment and excludes dispatch and transit time.
Where unforeseen delays arise after order confirmation, the Seller will notify the Customer by email within a reasonable time.
Article 3 — Dispatch and Delivery Timeframes
Once dispatched, estimated delivery timeframes are as follows:
| Destination | Estimated Delivery Time |
|---|---|
| European Union | Approximately 2 weeks from dispatch |
| United Kingdom | Approximately 2 weeks from dispatch |
| Rest of world | Approximately 3 weeks from dispatch, sometimes less |
These timeframes are indicative only and are not guaranteed. They represent standard carrier performance under normal operating conditions. The Seller accepts no liability for delays caused by carrier operations, customs clearance, public holidays, or events beyond its reasonable control.
The maximum contractual delivery period for EU consumers is 30 calendar days from the date of order confirmation, in accordance with Article 18 of EU Directive 2011/83/EU. Where this period cannot be met for reasons attributable to the Seller, the Customer's rights are set out in the General Terms and Conditions of Sale, Article 7.3.
Article 4 — Shipping Rates
Shipping costs are calculated at checkout based on destination zone and package weight. The applicable shipping cost is displayed to the Customer before order confirmation. No shipping cost is hidden or added after checkout completion.
Article 5 — Delivery Partners and Dispatch Locations
The Seller dispatches physical goods via FedEx and DHL, or equivalent international carriers, selected based on destination and package characteristics.
Important — Split Shipments: Vinyl records and merchandise are dispatched from separate locations:
- Vinyl records are dispatched by Triple Vision Record Distribution B.V., Achterhaven 160, 3024 RC Rotterdam, Netherlands. For vinyl-related dispatch enquiries: store@triplevision.nl
- Merchandise (apparel and branded items) is dispatched from Berlin, Germany by the Seller's fulfilment partner.
Where a Customer orders both vinyl and merchandise in a single order, the items will be dispatched separately from their respective locations. Separate shipping charges apply to each shipment and are calculated and displayed individually at checkout. The Customer will receive separate tracking references for each dispatch.
Article 6 — Delivery Zones and Restrictions
The Seller ships to customers worldwide with the following exceptions. Delivery is not available to:
- Israel
- Iran
- Ukraine
- Any territory subject to international trade sanctions or arms embargoes imposed by Switzerland, the European Union, or the United Nations at the time of order
- Any territory affected by active armed conflict where safe and lawful commercial delivery is not possible
The Seller reserves the right to update this list at any time without prior notice. Orders placed for restricted destinations will be cancelled and fully refunded.
Article 7 — Customs, Import Duties, and Taxes
Maazca Sàrl is established in Switzerland. All shipments are dispatched from Switzerland or the Netherlands and may be subject to customs inspection upon entry into the destination country.
The Customer is the importer of record for all international shipments and is solely and fully responsible for:
- Payment of all applicable import duties, import VAT, excise duties, and carrier customs handling fees levied by the customs authorities or delivering carrier of the destination country
- Compliance with all applicable import laws and regulations of the destination country
These charges are not collected by the Seller at checkout, are entirely outside the Seller's control, and vary by destination country, product category, and consignment value. The Seller cannot predict, estimate, or guarantee their amount. Customers are strongly encouraged to verify applicable import charges for their country before placing an order.
Refusal to pay applicable import charges or to accept delivery of a consignment does not constitute valid exercise of the right of withdrawal and does not entitle the Customer to a refund of outbound shipping costs. Where a consignment is returned to the Seller as a result of delivery refusal or non-payment of import charges, the Seller reserves the right to deduct return shipping costs and any associated fees and duties from any refund of the product price.
Article 8 — Transfer of Risk and Carrier Liability
Risk of accidental loss of or damage to goods passes to the Customer at the moment the Customer, or a third party designated by the Customer other than the carrier, takes physical possession of the goods.
Once goods have been handed to the carrier and a tracking reference has been issued, the Seller is no longer in a position to intervene in the transit process. In the event of delivery issues — including delays, failed delivery attempts, or goods held at a customs facility — the Customer is encouraged to contact the carrier directly using the tracking reference provided.
This provision applies without prejudice to the mandatory rights of EU consumers under Article 20 of EU Directive 2011/83/EU, under which the Seller remains liable for any loss or damage occurring during transit until the moment the goods reach the Customer's physical possession.
Article 9 — Damaged Goods in Transit
If a Customer receives physical goods that are visibly damaged as a result of transit, the following procedure applies:
- The Customer must notify the Seller at info@primal-instinct.net within 7 calendar days of delivery, providing photographic evidence of the damage to both the packaging and the product
- The Seller will open a systematic carrier claim upon receipt of evidence
- Subject to the outcome of the carrier claim and available stock, the Seller will offer a replacement or refund in accordance with the Return and Refund Policy
Damage claims submitted more than 7 calendar days after delivery may not be accepted, as the Seller's ability to pursue a carrier claim is time-limited by carrier terms.
Article 10 — Lost Parcels
A parcel is considered lost if it has not been delivered and tracking has shown no movement for a period of:
- 21 calendar days from dispatch for EU destinations
- 30 calendar days from dispatch for all other destinations
Where a parcel meets the above criteria, the Customer must notify the Seller at info@primal-instinct.net. The Seller will open a carrier claim and, upon confirmation, will offer the Customer either a replacement shipment (subject to stock availability) or a full refund of the product price and original shipping cost.
The Seller accepts no liability for parcels confirmed as delivered by the carrier to the address provided by the Customer, where non-receipt is disputed.
